In the studio yesterday

Little T in the studio having fun with clay
Its a beautiful autumn day for hanging washing in the sun to dry
Little T. came to visit us in the studio yesterday - she's a liveley 4 year old and one of our beadmakers children.  She's been begging her mommy for some time now to take her to 'work'.  She spent the afternoon playing with terracotta clay and it reminded me again that clay is a wonderful medium for children to express themselves.  Little T. took to clay as a fish in water - without hesitation and with absolutely no fear!  If only we adults could be like that - to create without fear!

I took this picture of a washing line in our beadmakers neighbourhood this morning.  Its a stunning autumn day and the air is crisp and clear.
