Earthbutter's facebook business page was set up in April already, but nothing much happened as I was too busy......with other 'things'!!  So now I've finally uploaded some pictures and are ready to get things going on Facebook.

To celebrate the birth of our Facebook page with you, I'm giving away this  Earthbutter Zebra necklace:
Zebra necklace, handmade ceramic beads, seed beads, silverplate lobster clasp, 45cm (18inch)

To win this gorgeous necklace, you will have to 'Like" us on Facebook and comment on why you want to win this prize.  The most original comment will be the winner and I'll ask one of the bead makers to help me choose the winner.  The give away closes on Saturday, 9th June 2012 at midnight and the winner will be announced HERE and on Facebook.

  1. Congrats on your new FB page, Desiree! I've read all your entries and left a comment in hopes of procuring this beautiful necklace. As is my habit, I googled your region in order to enjoy a "fantasy" trip (I dreamt of travel in Africa as a young woman but life has a way of interfering LOL and now I must be satisfied with armchair travel). I daresay my husband would feel right at home: he could enjoy the natural wonders of Wellington, your local 9-hole and particularly the vineyards as he is an amateur winemaker. I think I would stay close to town and sample your local markets and artisan shops, and perhaps beg a tour of your studio and meet your ladies... *sigh* one must dream... I should mention that I found you through Malin's website, so thank you, Malin, and thank you, Desiree, for offering this lovely necklace! I have your Etsy shop as a favorite so I'll be keeping an eye out for your new listings. Best wishes!

  2. Thank you Monique. Never say 'never' - from armchair to Cape Town - it could just happen and we'll be too happy to show you around.

  3. Hi Desiree
Your work is so beautiful and you are soooo creative. Each bead is a work of art. The work you are doing with the ladies in Wellington is truely amazing. I am looking forward to see more wonderful creations on this blog :-)
